MY AUTOBIOGRAPHY
Almira L. Arevalo
(On the stunning vicinity of San Pascual, Libon, Albay; there live two fellows who faithfully love each other, named Asuncion L. Dela Rosa & Antonio C. Arevalo. During the cold month of October 1989, as the wind grows stronger on the eight day of this month; the beautiful young lady-Asuncion is soon to deliver her first baby. The pain she felt that time seems to be as strong as the typhoon which strike on their place. Her husband-Antonio stayed on her side until she already delivered their first baby, it’s a baby girl. They named it Almira, and that’s the beginning of the new world of happiness, struggle and challenges on their family.)We decided to transfer at my mother’s place, after shed gave birth; that is at Sitio Maruhat, Bungo, Gapan City, to which until now and then we settle.
Things happened because we choose it there, there maybe regrets but blaming is not an option we are where we are ,because we brought ourselves there; we get happy, we get sad but most importantly, we learn!
Being the oldest daughter of my parents, I prepare myself to be what they wanted me to be. Having the given name Almira L. Arevalo,I grew up in a small yet contented/delighted family, with an only sister younger than me, named Alona L. Arevalo. She’s one year younger than me.
A non-formal education is given to me by my own mom. She does not loose her temper and patience when it comes to teaching me how to read, write, and express my feelings/desire.
At the age of six, I entered formal schooling then. A well-mannered teenage girl, that’s the word that I oftentimes heard to my educator, one’s I started schooling. Way back to my early year of entering school, I studied at the Day Care Center of Bungo, Gapan City. Here, I graduated with the recognition of being “The Best in Arts” among the thirty-five students they handled.
With the age of six turning seven, I come into Bungo Elementary School-is the name of the school with which culminated my skills, attitudes, perceptions, or in other words, foundation of my educational pursuits’. Through out every grade level I received an academic recognition; to be more exact, I’m always the 2nd or 3rd honor.
My high school reminiscences were at the Maruhat National High School. I go into this school, because this is the nearest possible school that I could study. Further, culmination and enhancement of my physical, mental, social, spiritual and emotional aspects were undertaken here. Likewise, I graduated as a Salutatorian.
These year, I’m in my third year in college at the Nueva Ecija University of Science And Te chnology; taking up Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education Major in Mathematics.
It is my anticipation to pursue the dream of my parents for me; and what’s that? It is something which could possibly be the very best thing that I could be.
