My name is Lalaine C. Navalta, my friends call me Laine. I lived in Brgy. Dampulan, Jaen Nueva Ecija. I was born on November 3,1989 at Jaen, Nueva Ecija. I am only 19 years old. My fathers name is Nemencio A. Navalta while my mothers name is Divina C. Navalta. During my elementary period, I was studying and graduated at Jaen, West Elementary School while in high school, I was graduated at Putlod, San Jose National High school. I am now under graduate at Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology, taking up Bachelor of Science in Industrial Education major in Industrial arts. In my home environment, during my childhood period, I would spend my whole day play with my cousins. I used to live in a place where all my relatives are also living. I was the only child then. About my family, I used to live with my grandmothers house and all my relatives at the same place. Every Sunday, me and my family would usually go to church. I used to play with my cousins, playing football. I enjoy playing with them. When I learned to read, as I see a book or any reading material, I would spend sometimes reading it. Most of all times, I spend my time watching cartoons. When I was young, my dream is to become a teacher. That’s why im taking up this course.
A simple, bashful type of person from San Roque, San Isidro Nueva Ecija is beginning to change his world… to change for the new start, a new life and a better world!!! August 2, 1989, in a far away place of Cabanatuan City, a charming baby was born, He is now a part of the world, the world that be his home and the world that will make him whole as a person. You want to know who that charming baby boy is? None other than………….”Pjong!” Ron Alfie Santiago Juson is my name. My grandmother gave my first name “Ron” because of her favorite actor “Ronnie Poe” and “Alfie” was the combination of my mother and father’s name. Alberto Juson is my father and Felicitas S. Juson is my mother. I am the youngest of among the three siblings and we are all good-looking men. (According to our mother) Archie is the eldest and he is already married. My second brother is Archie and he is planning to get married also and me, being the youngest, enjoying my life as a student. I want to finish my study and to fulfill all my dreams for not only myself but also most especially my dreams for my family. San Roque Elementary School became my second home when I was in elementary. I spent six years of my childhood life away from my classmates because I find it easy to be alone. I did not know why but I am used to be alone, but definitely not lonely. I continued my study in Holy Rosary School Foundation at Calaba, San Isidro Nueva Ecija. Nothing’s change at all if I will compare my elementary life from my high school life. I am still a quiet person and still alone. I am very much focused with my study. I have only two routes, house and school, school and house. Boring, this is how my classmates described me. Who cares, this is my life, as long as I understand our lessons, and I am contented. Nerd, right? I graduated as a salutatorian in our school. After that, I took an Entrance Examination in U.P. Luckily, I passed the exam but my mother did not allow me to study there. I was so thwarted because I even used my own savings just to go to Manila and take the exam. Therefore, I decided to take an entrance exam at Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology. I passed the exam and now I am here. N.E.U.S.T. made my life more exciting. It changed all of me. I am not alone now and I have numerous friends by my side. I learned how to socialized with others and make friends with them. I also found my genuine friends here who support me, give me strength and most especially accept for who I am and for what I am. Now, I am fulfilling my dreams to be a teacher. I want my parents to be proud of me and I want them to be happy. I want to be successful like the other teachers and professors who worked hard for their positions and achievements. See, I am building a new world. A world for changes that begins with………..me!
I can give u my best If you can promise to take care of the rest.
It was 25th of February 1982, at exactly 3:00 in the morning. The sun was not shine yet but happiness is what it brings. All is waiting for someone to come out, for someone to arise and hear her cry. Uha! Uha! Yes, that is me and I am coming out. I am alive and the world welcomed me with ecstasy and love.
Emerita S. Caymo is my name but they called me “Eche or Ate Eche” for short. I am 26 years of age, happily married to Mark Anthony Caymo and we are blessed with a three-year-old cute son named Lei Angelo S. Caymo.
Before I continue the story of my married and present life, allow me to tell you first my life, my life before I met the man of my life.
A good and affectionate couple Fernando Sayco, my father who is from San Rafael Bulacan, raised me and my mother Elvira D. Sayco, which is originally, resides here in San Isidro. Because of their genuine love with each other, I became whole and live with their comforting hands and loving heart. I was nine months old when the breaking news ruins our peaceful and blissful life. A call from Saudi Arabia came to us like a thunder to my mother’s ear. My father died of accident. An accident that changed our life and in just a snap brought our life in hell. My mother could not accept the fact that my father left us and will never ever come back. All their vibrant dreams turned into black, hopeless and worthless.
The sun continues to shine, just like our life. When I was two years old, my mother fell in love for the second time. She found a responsible man with god intention to us. He loves not only my mother but also most especially, me. He loves us with all his heart, unconditional and true. He worked hard for my study and for the study of my two other sisters which are the fruits of their love. I grew up without any doubt or perplexity about my stepfather. All his sacrifices and undoubting love are enough to acknowledge him as my real father. Then, again, the whole thing turned into black. He was diagnosed of cancer and died when I was in third year high school.
Here I am now! After all the tragedies in my life, I became more tough and primed. I am living a quiet married life and at the same time, I am studying at N.E.U.S.T., taking up B.S.E. major in General Science. I am proud and pleased with where and what I am now. I am preparing myself to be a future teacher together with my duties and responsibilities as a truthful and compassionate wife to my husband and affectionate and thoughtful mother to my son, a good learner to my educators and a genuine “Ate Eche” to all my true friends.
This is me, the real me! Know me; accept me, and you will find it easy to love me!
MY AUTOBIOGRAPHY Early morning of April 3, 1988, at exactly 6:00 in the morning, Heaven and Earth were celebrating the rising of our Lord Jesus Christ. It was Easter Sunday, when a cute baby boy from Baluarte Gapan City was born and his parents called that cute baby boy as Frederick! Frederick Capili Manalang is my whole and real name but they called me Fred for short. I became human and brought in this world because of the union of love of my loving parents. Because of the tender touch of my father, Ignacio Manalang and the sweet whispers of my mother, Leonida Capili Manalang, I became whole and complete. I am very proud to say that I grew up responsible and God-fearing person, all because of my parents. We are not rich in material things and we did not belong to a wealthy family but what we have now is more than enough to consider us, as wealthy, not by money but with the kind of family that we have. My life as an elementary student is not as easy as the others have. In my innocent mind at San Roque Elementary School, I do understand not everything but most of it. For me, every little thing is important and there is no room for wasting. Everything has a meaning and has its purpose. After I graduated in elementary, I continued my study at San Roque High School, Gapan City. My life as high school student is very different from elementary. I met many friends here, girls and boys. I enjoyed high school life because of them that I did not even notice that we have to say goodbye with each other to start a new life as college students. Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology is where I am now. Years passed so hastily. Before, I was only an innocent elementary pupil but now I am a third year college of N.E.U.S.T. and taking up B.S.E. major in General Science. In my life as college, big changes happened, real friends came and stay, and problems were encountered and defeated. I am a grown up man now, more responsible, strong and determined. I am patiently waiting for one more year and after that I will proudly get my diploma as a new graduate, as a future teacher. Now that I have shared to you some pieces of my life, it is time for you to share your story. I am waiting but please do not keep me wait for long!!!
I am Liezel C. Paguio, 19 years of age. I was born on January 31, 1989 at San Nicholas Nueva Ecija. My father is Joselito Paguio, a 40-year-old responsible man from San Miguel Bulacan and my mother, Wilma C. Paguio, a 41-year old supportive woman from San Nicholas Nueva Ecija. I have two brothers named Jayson and Jerome Paguio. We have a small business "chicharonan" which became our bread and butter for 4 years. I spent my six years of elementary grades at San Nicholas Central School. After I finished my elementary grades, I continued my high school study at Juan R. Liwag Memorial High School. I met many new friends in this school and we shared numerous happy moments. Years passed by so quick that I did not notice at all. I am here standing in front of the registrar of N.E.U.S.T. waiting for the result of the entrance examinations. I am nervous and at the same time, I am hoping and praying that my name was included in the list of the passers. The decisive moment came, the result was released and from that very moment… I was relieved. Thank God, I made it! Now, I am a part of the N.E.U.S.T., San Isidro Campus for less than three years. How can I forget my first day here in this school? I experienced difficult times especially when I was in first year. I met new faces, new environment, new teachers and of course, new classmates with different attitudes and characters. Big adjustment was only my weapon to survive and luckily, I succeed because I met friends that made me comfortable and strong. We became at east with each other and we found out that we are enjoying each other’s company. I am in my third year of education now. One year to go and I will be a graduate of B.S.E course, major in General Science. I am happy and contented with my course and with all my "ka-majors". We have the unity and cooperation inside and outside the class. With my friends and new friends beside me and with my parents who always support me, I can say that I am satisfied, happy and complete!
Twenty years had pass when a bouncing baby boy born on the afternoon of April 23 at their own house with the assistance of Dr. Gabriel. His parents Mrs.Benita Ramos Vicencio and Mr. Magdaleno Santiago Vicencio guided him and raised him with good moral character and God fearing child. When he reached the age of four his parents decided to to sent him to school. He studied at Holy Rosary School Foundation from nursery up to Fourth year whom he graduated with the cultural awrd because of joining the Holy Rosary School Foundation ballet group. During his college years he enrolled his three and half years at Central Luzon State University. But this years passed with out permanent course. So his parents decided to transfer him at Nueva Ecija University Of Science And Technology. And up to the present time he is a junior student taking up Bachelor of Science in secondary education major in Music, Arts, Physical Education and Health.
Finishing my studies is one of my major goals in life. I am praying and hoping to finish my studies whom my parents are expecting to. In achieving all these goals, I must have the determination, the courage and perseverance, because I believe having all these characteristics, one can achieve his ambitions in life.
“Destiny is not a matter of chance; Destiny is a matter of choice”. A principle I have with my life. An approachable, fun to be with, and a jolly person. This is me, Gerardo R. Vicencio or simply Gerih.
